History
We have lived experience of working with projects operating on remote sites. We discovered that reporting needed to be more accurate and more frequent to ensure that projects stayed on time and on budget. It was no longer enough for a project planner to be reporting in once per a shift. Companies were demanding a more robust and reliable reporting system that was infallible.
We started looking into ways that Artificial Intelligence (AI) could be used to assist construction activities. What we found was that there was a need for AI reporting on sites for vehicle utilisation. After talking to industry experts, project slippage was mainly occurring on sites due to a lack of adherence to the project schedule - with no way to understand why a project was falling behind.
Through working with our early industry partners, we were able to come up with the InSite Monitoring platform, which provided the tools needed to solve most project controls issues in real-time.

Our Leadership

Christian Chandler
Director
After spending 12 years working in a combination of residential, commercial, large mining and infrastructure projects, Christian found that schedule development and management was performed inefficiently across the board. Improving on these processes could greatly assist in project delivery not only in terms of time but also quality, cost and risk – so he founded Consilium.
Christian’s passion for the integration of cost, schedule and resourcing associated with projects both small and large scale has resulted in significant improvements not only at a project level but across portfolios and businesses too. Christian draws on his deep experience in project management, project supervision and training groups in the project management body of knowledge to lead Consilium. He is proficient in using and training others in the use of various project and portfolio management tools, including but not limited to Primavera, MS Project, PPM, Planview and 1sap.
Christian’s project experience is backed by a Bachelors degree in Construction Management and Economics as well as Diplomas in Building and Builders Registration.
